Heroes of Anirea First Playtest

Jaén, Spain, July 29th, in the year of our Lord 2026 - Heroes of Anirea, the turn-based tactical JRPG with roguelite progression and character-driven strategy, has just launched a massive, time-limited open playtest. For the first time ever, players will be able to publicly try the game and enjoy its rich fantasy world, getting a taste of what awaits them in the final game.

The playtest is open to everyone, all players have to do to join is use the Request Access button on the game’s Steam page, and they will get automatically invited to give it a try.

This is what players can expect from the playtest:

7 playable heroes, each with their own unique gameplay.
A run that takes place in the grasslands biome, with a duration of around 30 minutes.
12 enemies and 2 bosses.
Unlockable equipment and fates for the heroes.

With this experience, independent Spanish studio Crossbros hopes to gather valuable feedback that will help improve and polish the game in the coming months in preparation for its launch in 2027. Before that, the game will also launch a Kickstarter campaign to secure funding, so those interested in supporting it can sign up now to receive exclusive updates regarding the campaign and the game’s development.
