Hearth and Hamlet Release Date
Family Friendly Gaming News
[August 12th, in the year of our Lord 2026]: Hearth
and Hamlet, the cozy incremental citybuilder developed by Phorust
Studios and published by Runic Forge, will launch on Steam on August
19th, 2026. Ahead of release, the game has surpassed 150,000
wishlists, while its free Steam demo has been played by more than
100,000 lifetime unique players.
Hearth and Hamlet invites players to build their very own kingdom,
starting from a single campfire and growing their settlement through
incremental gameplay and citybuilding mechanics. Players assign a
growing population of workers to gather resources before
constructing buildings that can range from market stalls and town
halls to barracks, banks, and magic academies.
Along the way, players can research and unlock new technologies, set
their own laws and policies, trade with far off lands to acquire
exotic resources and mystical artefacts and recruit soldiers and
guardsmen to form their own defenses - all while managing citizens'
happiness for production bonuses.
Since releasing its Steam demo alongside Steam's Medieval Fest,
Hearth and Hamlet has continued to build momentum with players,
crossing 125,000 wishlists and drawing more than 100,000 lifetime
unique players to its demo ahead of its full launch on August 19th.

to open new doors at every turn. Form civil defense infrastructure
and educational and religious institutions. House the nobility in
