Farmer’s Dynasty 2 Free Mowing Update

Oberhaching, Germany, September 23, in the year of our Lord 2026 – Green Thorn Valley, the picturesque location of the popular farming-sim/life-sim Farmer’s Dynasty 2 keeps on growing. With the latest free update, development team UMEO Studios and German indie publisher Toplitz Productions add new activities, new machinery and new features, giving the farming adventure in an open world more depth.

Among other things, the 'Mowing Update' introduces grass as a new crop. It follows its own growth cycle, reaching mowing readiness after 30 days, with cultivated fields carrying a greater yield than naturally growing grass. Cut grass also has a humidity factor and dries gradually in suitable weather, with visual dryness indicators. Crops like barley and oats also leaving straw now after harvesting, adds yet another layer to the farming experience.

To support the grass workflow, farmers can now use a wide range of new machines across both playable time eras, with the modern-era ride-on mower leading the pack. This nimble but powerful machine is a fast and agile option for smaller spaces around the farm and carries another perk: Cut grass is transferred directly into the inventory, instead of being left for baling.

Additionally, a wide variety of changes and bug fixes is introduced. Functionality of attached mowing machinery and equipment has been improved, while the dealerships have been re-stocked with available vehicles. Workers can be ordered to sow and also harvest and sell the grass, if suitable equipment is available.
