BALL x PIT New Content
Family Friendly Gaming News
January 26, in the year of our Lord 2026 -- The
Regal Update, the first major update for BALL x PIT, brings a wealth
of new content to Kenny Sun and Friends' million-selling roguelite.
It includes new characters, new balls, and a completely new mode
that players have been eagerly awaiting since launch.
You can now play as the Falconer, a new character who fires two
balls launched by a pair of birds on the sides of the screen, giving
the attacks a wide, curved spread. Or take on the role of the
drunkard, a medieval royal troublemaker who uses a personal
gravitational field to bend the trajectories of the balls and thus
pull shots out of their usual paths.
A selection of eight powerful new balls expands the arsenal,
including the new fireworks display, which explode in bright,
unpredictable patterns and deal damage in all directions; the stone
ball that hits violently like a truck on impact, but slowly crumbles
with each subsequent ricochet; as well as the landslide, which
triggers an ever-increasing wave of debris before the first impact
point and deals damage to surrounding enemies for several seconds.
And then there's the endless mode, one of the most requested
features of BALL x PIT. Once you've completed the game, each area
can now be played for as long as you can keep it up. After defeating
the respective boss, you can continue playing indefinitely -
provided you stay alive and decide to go deeper and deeper into the
pit.
All of this – and MUCH more – awaits you in the Regal Update,
available now for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo
Switch and Switch 2.
