Barcelona, Spain & Brasília, Brazil — July 23, in the year of our Lord 2026 — Every action in Alex & Arty leaves the world a little more alive. Journey across the vibrant planet of Gladness, cleanse corruption, restore nature, and explore alongside Arty, a shapeshifting companion whose different forms unlock new ways to traverse the world.

Independent developer RolldBox Games and publisher Jataí Games are pleased to announce their alliance and today announced that Alex & Arty will launch on Steam on September 16, 2026.

Alex & Arty places environmental restoration at the heart of the experience. As players progress, polluted environments gradually recover, revealing vibrant landscapes, renewed wildlife, and new paths to explore.

Throughout the adventure, Arty becomes much more than a companion. Its different forms allow players to reach previously inaccessible areas, while the creatures of Gladness — known as the Dilimals — each feature their own behaviours and personalities, making every biome feel distinct and alive.

Launching in English, Spanish, German, French, Catalan, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, Alex & Arty combines exploration, traversal and environmental storytelling across forests, oceanic regions, volcanic landscapes and other unique locations that visibly transform through the player's actions.
