Family Friendly Gaming News
PITTSBURGH, PA — Nov. 25, in the year of our Lord 2025
— Strap yourself in and get ready for the flight of your
life. The feline flyboys (and flygals) at Mega Cat Studios are
pleased to announce that their highly anticipated 16-bit
shoot-’em-up ZPF is now available on the Mega Cat Studios online
store.
Starting today, the ZPF faithful can take to the skies with three
versions of the game:
Standard Edition CIB ($59.99) — Includes cartridge, clamshell case,
and manual
Limited Edition CIB ($150.00) — Includes custom laser-etched
cartridge, clamshell case, and manual
Cart-Only ($49.99)
This long-awaited public launch follows ZPF’s hugely successful
Kickstarter campaign, which raised more than 1,300% of its funding
goal in the summer of 2024.
To celebrate the game’s release, publisher Mega Cat Studios has
released a new trailer. This new footage offers an exhilarating look
at what awaits players as they soar through ZPF’s strange and deadly
skies, including goblins, horrifying infected creatures, and
screen-filling bosses that put your shoot-’em-up skills to the test.
“The release of ZPF marks a meaningful milestone for the
three-letter game title community,” said James Deighan, CEO of Mega
Cat Studios. “It’s the result of ambitious ideas, careful
craftsmanship, and a team that never shies away from pushing
boundaries on the Mega Drive with the ZPF team. We’re excited to
finally share it with the world.”
Key Features:
Go head-to-head against hordes of screen-filling bosses
