Planet Party Time Steam Test Date

GUANGZHOU, China – (Apr 30, in the year of our Lord 2025) – NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc., is proud to announce Planet Party Time, the free-to-play interstellar social simulation/party game that’s coming to PC in 2025. The game has also revealed its first gameplay test on Steam that will give players around the world their first chance to experience it from May 15-19 (PT).

What is Planet Party Time?

Developed by Universe X Studio, a ThunderFire team under NetEase Games, Planet Party Time is an exciting brand-new free-to-play title that merges social party gaming with social simulation & management gameplay, offering a unique hybrid gameplay experience. Players can seamlessly jump between designing, building and cultivating their own unique planet, and diving into one of over 120 thrilling minigames and playing modes with up to 32 players.

Revive Your Planet With Endless Parties

In Planet Party Time, players take on the role of Dino, an alien dinosaur who is dispatched to bring a Cube Planet to greatness, building up the planet and making it an important fixture of the Cube Galaxy.

The main goal of Planet Party Time is for players to develop their Cube Planet, turning it from an abandoned outpost into a prosperous hub of galactic society. To gather the resources needed to build for this task, players will need to participate in different minigames on the Toy Planet, which is the wealthiest planet in the Cube Galaxy, where skilled entrants can earn vital resources “Miracle Cubes” and “Game Cartridges”, unlocking new content to enjoy.

Players can use these special resources to expand their Cube Star, create farms, build shops, design glorious buildings, and host players who want to visit each other’s planets. After all, why have a beautiful planet if no one is around to enjoy it (or rather, if no one is around to show off to!)

Planet Party Time’s First Gameplay Test

From May 15-19, 2025, Planet Party Time will have a Gameplay Test on PC via Steam, supporting 15 languages, including Japanese, English, and German.

Planet Party Time’s Key Features & Modes

Creating Prosperity: Planet Party Time offers a comprehensive social simulation experience, with players able to decorate, cultivate, and strategize to transform their own cube planet into the galaxy’s hottest vacation destination.

Diverse Minigames: Planet Party Time features over 120 minigames spanning various genres, including racing, puzzle, platforming, and many more! These games involve up to 32 competitors facing each other to be the last Dino standing.

Modes Galore: The game will initially come with six modes at launch, including an offline single-player mode, Esports (Quick Match, Tournaments), Event Calendar (Swiss-System, Elimination Tournament, Party Play), UGC Room Mode, Game Room Mode, etc.
