Hangzhou, China – August 17th, in the year of our Lord 2025
– NetEase Games’ Universe X Studio has announced that
Planet Party Time will be featured at its own interactive booth at
gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany! Visitors can play the newest
version of the adorable life-sim featuring hundreds of multiplayer
party games for the first time in person at booth E055 in Hall 10.1
and secure plenty of swag from August 20th – 24th. Planet Party Time
is set to release in 2026 for PC.
Visitors to this year’s gamescom can expect a colourful booth
featuring game-play stations and giveaways throughout Germany’s
largest gaming event in Hall 10.1. They can relax in one of the cozy
bean bags while enjoying the very first offline hands-on with Planet
Party Time for a chance to claim free swag, including Planet Party
Time bags and socks!
What is Planet Party Time?
Developed by Universe X Studio, a ThunderFire team under NetEase
Games, Planet Party Time is an exciting brand-new title, created by
Chinese developers that merges party gaming with social simulation &
management gameplay, offering a unique hybrid gaming experience.
Players can seamlessly jump between designing, building and
cultivating their own unique planet, to diving into one of over 120
thrilling minigames and modes for up to 32 players.
In Planet Party Time, players take on the role of Dino, an alien
dinosaur who is dispatched to bring a Cube Planet to greatness,
building it up to make it an important fixture of the Cube Galaxy.
The main goal of the game is for players to develop their Cube
Planet, turning it from an abandoned outpost into a prosperous hub
of galactic society. To gather the resources needed to build for
this task, players will need to participate in different minigames
on the Toy Planet, which is the wealthiest planet in the Cube
Galaxy, where skilled entrants can earn vital resources, “Miracle
Cubes” and “Game Cartridges”, unlocking new content to enjoy.
Escape Earth and embark on a wonderful life in Cube Galaxy!
Players can fish, gather, farm, catch bugs, and raise pets on their
little planet, experiencing the joys of a carefree life! Travel to
different planets and explore the unique characteristics of each one
while making friends and trading with aliens — the marvelous
universe is waiting for you to explore!
Build freely to create your very own happy planet — and Dino!
You create your joyful base on a six-sided planet with a rich
variety of building components, allowing players to freely modify
the planet's surface and terrain. The game even lets players build
floating islands, expanding the construction possibilities from
two-dimensional to three-dimensional! Customize the high-quality
character models featuring over 100,000 strands of hair to your
heart’s desire, with, hundreds of hats, clothes, glasses, and shoes
and more from all over the universe to collect!
Enjoy 120+ Mini-Games and Discover User-Generated Content!
Compete in over 120 mini-games, including obstacle courses, puzzles,
races and much more in either single player or multiplayer modes to
earn resources for your own Cube Planet! Thanks to a simple yet
powerful game design editor, players can also create their own
mini-games. Invite your friends to join the experience and publish
your creations online for players around the world to enjoy.
Additionally, you can experience amazing new content created by
other players every day! Finally, Planet Party Time supports video
editing via Movie Mode, making it easy to create exciting gameplay
highlight videos!
Planet Party Time is set to release in 2026 for PC.
