Family Friendly Gaming News
Villareal, Spain. April 27, in the year of our Lord 2025
– Indie game publisher BlitWorks Games announces the release of
Peglin (by Red Nexus Games) for PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One
and Series, coming on May 1st after its successful release on Steam
and Nintendo Switch on August 27th 2024–following its announcement
on Indie World by Nintendo.
Genres: roguelike, pachinko, deck-builder, turn-based RPG
The peaceful village of the Peglins has been ravaged by an evil
dragon, and it’s your time to step up! Armed with pebbles, navigate
through various challenges and reclaim the little ones' home.
The definitive mix between pachinko and roguelike
Make way level by level, choose your next challenge and defeat
enemies and bosses by bouncing orbs across the screen. Decide which
stage to go to after each encounter... but the choice itself is also
a pachinko level, so it may not turn out the way you wanted!
Deck-builder (Or should we say… pebble-builder?)
Gather your deck and enjoy endless replayability in each run thanks
to a wide array of levels, orbs, enemies, relics, encounters and
characters to unlock; each with totally different stats and
game-changing abilities, offering endless combinations. Every run is
different!
And for the most daring... after each successfully completed run, a
new difficulty level is unlocked! Up until Cruciball 20.
Turn-based combat
Fight in turns against waves of enemies, decide who to attack first
with some special orbs, upgrade your pebbles, get or buy new ones
and prepare to face the final boss of each stage.
