Walnut Creek, California - June 4, in the year of our Lord 2025 | The wait is almost over. Maximum Football, the community-focused, free-to-play football sim, is officially launching on PlayStation 5 on June 17, 2025. On the same day, the highly anticipated 1.0 update will also arrive on Xbox and Steam, marking a major milestone for the game since it entered Early Access and Game Preview in 2024.

From day one, Maximum Football has been built with community at its core. With direct player feedback guiding development, the team has introduced major new features including Local Multiplayer and Coach Mode, expanding the game's depth and playability.

“We’re excited to invite even more players to the field and continue shaping the future of football gaming together,” said Anth Rodgers, Head of Studio at Maximum Entertainment. “We’ve got some fresh updates in store for our June 1.0 launch, and we can’t wait to see new players enter the game.”

Whether you're calling the plays or suiting up on the field, Maximum Football offers an open football experience where your voice matters. Join the passionate Maximum Football community and help build the football game you’ve always wanted.

Maximum Football is coming to PlayStation 5 on June 17, 2025, along with the 1.0 update on Xbox and Steam.
