Leicester UK - 15th December in the year of our Lord 2025
-- Kasedo Games and Megapop today unveiled a brand-new
gameplay trailer for Life Below, the upcoming underwater
city-builder that challenges players to restore and rebuild vibrant
marine ecosystems beneath the waves. The latest footage showcases a
wide range of core gameplay features, from tackling environmental
hazards such as heatwaves and oil spills to restoring damaged coral
reefs and upgrading them to thrive. The trailer also introduces the
immersive new Wildlife View, allowing players to follow sea
creatures as they traverse distinct biomes, offering an intimate
perspective on the living ocean world they are helping to heal.
Life Below delivers a fresh and distinctive take on the
city-building genre. Set on a near-future Earth where the oceans
have been irrevocably changed, players must adapt quickly to new
rules of survival. Grow your reef, attract diverse wildlife to
increase biodiversity, and carefully improve entire underwater
ecosystems to withstand a constantly shifting tide.
Alongside the trailer reveal, Life Below has been named a Unity
Awards 2025 winner. Presented by Unity, the world’s most widely used
game engine, the Unity Awards celebrate excellence in creativity,
technical achievement, and player engagement across the global games
industry. Life Below earned top honors in the Social Impact

meaningful, purpose-driven game experiences. Selected by a panel of
expert judges, the title stood out as one of the year’s most
impactful projects, both for its core themes and for the studio’s
broader portfolio of socially conscious games.
