store page or official site. The developers confirm CBT2 adds a new
Team Mode while implementing feedback-driven upgrades to Arcade
Mode, Custom Matches, and UI, aiming for a more polished experience.

CBT2 will introduce the brand-new Lineup System, offering richer
lineup management and progression. It replaces Captain Mode and Team
Control Mode, letting players assign athletes to squads and
gradually unlock up to three independent lineups-all with custom
names and icons.
Participating in Team Mode matches earns Team XP to increase squad
level, unlocking additional lineup slots and deepening tactical
flexibility. Simultaneously, the Team System introduces a Badge
Progression mechanism: Badges categorized as Offensive,
Organizational, and Defensive types can be equipped into dedicated
squad slots to boost player abilities. Each lineup supports
independent badge deployment to ensure personalized strategy. Badges
of various rarities and levels won through team-match establish new
progressive goals and strategic choices.
In CBT2, the Custom Match system takes a pivotal leap toward "player
co-creation":
1. Password-protected Rooms: enable full customization of court
aesthetics, match duration, and victory conditions—letting players
host "street league" or private tournaments with friends.
2. One-Click Team Quick Recruit: resolves matchmaking friction while
paving the way for a future "Match Editor" that grants players
