Fallosophy Announced
Family Friendly Gaming News
Dublin, Ireland – December 5th, in the year of our Lord 2025
– Independent Irish developer Reliable Plumbing Services has
announced Fallosophy, a minimalist pinball-inspired precision
platformer launching on PC via Steam in Q2 2026.
Blending two-button pinball physics with vertical rage-platforming,
Fallosophy challenges players to ascend a towering world shaped by
the ruins of philosophical thought. Each major region draws
inspiration from a different era of philosophy, from Classical
Antiquity through to Postmodernism, combining surreal pixel-art
environments with uncompromising physics-driven gameplay.
Players take on the role of Baetyl, a solitary spark of thought
climbing upward from a cave of ignorance toward uncertain
enlightenment. As flippers, plungers, and momentum become tools of
ascent, a mysterious figure known as the Philosopher King guides the
player with calm authority—wisdom that may not be as benevolent as
it first appears.
Fallosophy rejects progression shortcuts in favour of mastery
through failure. There are no upgrades, no enemies, and no ability
unlocks. Every mistake matters, and a single error can send players
falling minutes, or hours, down the world.
The game is not a Metroidvania, action game, or casual pinball
experience. Progress moves strictly upward. Mastery comes from
understanding physics: edge flips, subtle bounces, cradles, and
controlled momentum.
