Cave Crave VR Launches

Family Friendly Gaming News

December 12, in the year of our Lord 2025 -- Cave Crave VR, the intense, tactile spelunking adventure previously released on Meta Quest and PSVR2 (75 000 copies sold), launches on SteamVR today with a 25% discount. The reduced price will be available for the first 14 days until December 26th at 7:00 PM CEST. This game comes from publisher and developer 3R Games.

Cave Crave VR drops players into pitch-black passageways, tight squeezes, and vast underground chambers - brought to life on PC VR with enhanced lighting, dynamic water reflections, sharper textures, and richer atmosphere.

Game Modes included at Launch

Story Mode – A narrative-driven expedition with optional free-roam
Tourist Mode – Guided exploration for a more relaxed experience
Horror Mode – Claustrophobic, pitch-dark, and crawling with creatures…

All free updates (including Arcade Mode) released on Meta Quest will also arrive on SteamVR early next year.

Explore Nutty Putty Cave in VR

The SteamVR version includes a faithfully rebuilt VR recreation of Nutty Putty Cave, created using official maps and data from rescuer Brandon Kowallis. Explore the sealed 2009 Utah cave with authentic traversal-walking, crawling, crouching, and climbing-while voice notes share its history.

A Mind–Body Adventure

Cave Crave VR challenges players to stay aware and composed underground:

mark your own paths with chalk
manage breathing through tight spaces
maintain focus under pressure
use your tools to lead the way
