Banished Stone offers a captivating sideways fantasy game challenging you to explore the enchanting world of the Ridge to solve your father’s mysterious passing and ultimately earn yourself a one-way pass to paradise!

Banished Stone takes you on a journey to the Ridge, in which the Company has turned crime into a lucrative business, ruling with an iron fist. Like everyone else in the Ridge, you strive to break free from the oppressive grip of the Company. You’ve grown up without knowing your parents, constantly on the run, never truly feeling safe. You never intended to become a criminal, yet in this land, you embark on a dangerous adventure to uncover your family history, reclaim your name, and fight for your freedom. The stakes are high, and your future is undefined … will you rise to the occasion?

Banished Stone offers a casual gameplay experience where you can play for as little or as long as you want, as you work to pay off the bounty on your head, earning your ticket to freedom. Explore the valley of the Ridge, Frontiersville and other surrounding areas simply by walking around or flying. Successfully executing tasks and slaying monsters will lower your bounty, while certain other tasks may increase your bounty. You'll encounter a whole array of monsters, varied spawning systems and of course mean looking bosses. Each of these will come with its own set of challenges and varying amounts of bounty to earn. Combat happens in real-time and with patience and determination you will master your combat abilities and newfound powers to fight your enemies. You can hire a combat pet for help, or make friends with dozens of NPCs and have them hang out with you and participate in combat! There are ten unique animals roaming the Ridge just waiting for a little help from a friend. Use pet food to make them fall in love with you, then use a pet collar to make them yours forever!!! Or until you find a cuter, cuddlier pet …

Banished Stone features tons of items and loot to hoard! Loot is gained by slaying baddies, by obtaining them from other NPCs or by earning pet rewards or completing tasks. Eventually, you will be able to craft your own potions to produce your own high-tier armor and weapons. Passive loot drops known as Illumination and Darkness can be used to alter the time-of-day in an area to change the lighting from day-to-night or night-to-day. Additional content may be available in one area when the time-of-day changes, monsters may behave differently at night or during the day. Aiding you in your quest are the Wings of Wisdom relic, a rare artifact passed on to your family for generations; with the wings in your possession, you're able to fly to access additional content and to get around obstacles. Become the law or break the law in this breathtaking journey, and at all costs protect the people of Frontiersville from all that would do them harm.
