Family Friendly Gaming News
Los Angeles — July 3, in the year of our Lord 2025
— Aksys Games today revealed details about their upcoming lineup of
games during their panel at this year’s Anime Expo event in Los
Angeles. Titles were announced for Nintendo Switch™, PS5™ and PC.
The new titles announced include:
Path of Mystery: A Brush with Death (NSW/Spring 2026) – Decades ago,
a famous landscape artist was brutally murdered while painting late
at night. At that time irregularities were found in the case and the
primary suspect died in an apparent suicide. The case was closed
and, over time, nearly forgotten. Thirty years later your university
club, the Mystery Research Club, pries open old wounds, revisiting
this unsolved case as a research assignment. Unexpected new clues
are revealed as you use your secret ability to peer into the past,
viewing key items and events in a new light. Use your uniquely
gained knowledge to steer conversations and interviews with
witnesses and potential suspects. Maintain your own secrets while
uncovering a series of long-buried mysteries leading to the true
killer.
Q Collection (NSW/2026) – The Q puzzle series now makes its way to
the Nintendo Switch as a collection of three games! With over 1,800
problems to solve, you're bound to be entertained, whether you'd
like to take on the challenges yourself or as a group. Q REMASTERED
is a simple puzzle game in which players can freely draw lines and
shapes on the screen. The drawn object will drop due to gravity. Q
with VTUBERS features challenging and quirky puzzles designed by
over 20 VTubers. The sequel Q2 HUMANITY introduces characters or
'humans' that can jump, bounce, throw things, and sometimes even
exhibit special abilities. Q2 can be played solo or with up to 4
players.
Tristia: Chronicles (NSW/Spring 2026) – Tristia: Legacy and
Tristia: Restore are together in one updated collection! The
beautiful city of Tristia, nicknamed the "Jewel of the Sea," has
bustled with maritime trade until recent dragon attacks stripped the
city of its charm, and the people are resigned to its state of
decay. In this town building simulation game, you play as
crafter-inventor Nanoca who has been challenged to restore the city
within a year. Will Tristia regain its former vibrancy or will it
remain in disrepair? Everything depends on your hard work.
Tristia: Restore takes place alongside Tristia: Legacy, but focuses
on the day-to-day running of Nanoca’s shop. She has some major
crafting projects to complete, but while she works to finish them, a
constant barrage of requests pour in. In this action game, quickness
counts as you gather your materials, choose the right equipment, and
deliver completed items to the townsfolk. Can you accomplish
everything before time runs out?
C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield (PS5 & NSW physical only/Fall
2025) – An expanded version of the game that combines
roguelike-style deckbuilding with SRPGs. Enjoy unique tactical
gameplay that features over 100 varieties of cards with unique
designs allowing players to build powerful decks and strategically
confront enemies on an SRPG field. Every encounter requires a
different strategy! Adapt to new battlegrounds and plan accordingly.
Build the strongest deck and put a stop to the Hellmuth Brigade's
actions. The new "Mini-Game" mode lets players select a single unit
and navigate a grid-based map, engaging in battles, upgrading, and
making critical decisions. Your route and deck-building choices
within limited turns will determine your success against the boss!
The Good Old Days (NSW/Fall 2025) – A nostalgic metroidvania-style
game from the good old days back in 19XX. Take on the role of Sean,
a young boy who ventures into the fictional city of Arostia to repay
his father's debt. Explore the underground of Arostia, rescue your
friends from imprisonment, and figure out how to pay your debt on
time! The Good Old Days pays homage to the general nostalgia of
teenage youth, the times that were, and what could have been.
Throughout your adventure across the play space, you may encounter
easter eggs and retro pop culture references scattered throughout
the game world. Reminisce about the dreams of adventure from those
days gone by throughout your playthrough with this gripping,
multi-faceted story!
Otome Daoshi -Fighting for Love- (NSW/Spring 2026) – Shunlin lives
in the thriving martial arts kingdom of Kayu where she's a Daoist
priestess in training. This year the Tournament of Valor will decide
the strongest fighter in the country. However, on the day of the
tournament, an assailant appears at the arena and attacks the
spectators. Experience the conflict and betrayal amongst allies and
confront the challenges ahead. As they protect those important to
them and their pride, our protagonist fights for her beloved country
and for the warrior that she loves! In the end, what will be their
fate, and what will the future hold?
Project Code M (Platforms TBA) – We are excited to announce Project
Code M, a mystery game currently in development where you seek the
truth behind a series of murders from the perspectives of both the
killer and the investigator. The story takes place in present day
Tokyo, focusing on the Shitamachi area such as Asakusa and
Yoshiwara, and involves Japan's criminal underworld. As the
murderer, set your trap, corner the target and commit your crime.
The style of murder will unfold differently depending on the
situation. As the investigator, uncover the truth by searching for
clues and questioning witnesses. More details coming soon!
Aksys also announced that three new DLC packs are dropping next week
for the popular Fitness Boxing feat. HATSUNE MIKU (NSW/July 10).
Duck, jab, and punch your way to fitness with Hatsune Miku in the
classic Fitness Boxing Mode, or in the brand new "Miku Exercise"

era where light and shadow coexist, a kingdom thrives under the rule
of the fairy queen. On the outskirts of the capital city, Rowan,
stands a noble residence where a new maid is about to arrive. Our
heroine Aprose, having lost everything eight years ago, swore to
take revenge on those responsible. Using a false identity, she

beneath the surface of Itehari… for this garden in the sky is a
