Guardians Get Ready to Spread Christmas Cheer

December 16, in the year of our Lord 2020 -- Guardians everywhere will take up the mantle of cookie baker and courier as the Dawning alights on the Tower once more. The Dawning is a free seasonal event where all Destiny 2 players can make treats, spread Christmas cheer and get some goodies in-game. It begins on 15 December and will run until 5 January, giving fans plenty of time to get into the holiday spirit and bake some sweet, sweet treats.

Even the frozen moon of Europa can't keep Eva Levante from warming Guardian hearts.

Guardians are encouraged to warm up their ovens, gather ingredients, and spread cookies and cheer across the solar system. New vendors and new seasonal awards await those keen on baking up a storm - and maybe even an unexpected gift or two.

To celebrate the season, Guardians can earn Dawning Spirit by completing missions, bounties and recipes. These will go toward personal and communal goals. The more you get into the Christmas spirit, the more Eva will have better rewards for everyone to share.

This ship is a real jolly ride.

A new exotic ship awaits those keen on a dashing trip through the stars. This ship boasts several features that can be unlocked by generating Dawning Spirit. Features include three selectable engine effects, a unique transmat effect, an animated shader, and more!

Tess Everis will have several festive items on display, including an elf-themed Ghost Shell and merry weapon ornaments. Guardians can grab them from the Eververse store for Bright Dust or Silver.

The Elf Ghost Shell does not come with its own shelf.

With our annual Game2Give Light Keepers charity initiative coming to a close, Guardians have already raised over $1.3M to help sick and recovering kids through the Bungie Foundation's iPads for Kids and Children's Miracle Network Hospital's Extra Life programs.
