Hyper Hippo Productions officially launches Mech Mice

Creator of Disney’s Club Penguin Releases Innovative Strategy Game for Kids

KELOWNA, B.C. – October 16, in the year of our Lord 2013 – Hyper Hippo Productions has announced the launch of Mech Mice, an all-new tactical strategy game featuring a rich storyline and beautiful animation. Hyper Hippo, the new digital entertainment studio founded by two of the leading minds behind the success of Disney’s Club Penguin, have teamed up with Oktobor Animation to bring the fantasy world of Mech Mice to fans young and old. Mech Mice is now available for Mac and PC, and is quickly being followed by iOS and Android later this year.

Mech Mice features the unlikeliest of underdog heroes, mice, but in a way they have never been portrayed before. “I want people to fall in love with Mech Mice without even playing the game,” said Lance Priebe, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Development Officer at Hyper Hippo. “Before we even started with the actual game design, we wrote the Mech Mice field guide and found a compelling design style that merged cute with ultra cool. From there the team focused on UI design, ensuring the game was easy to play but difficult to master. This opens it up to a much broader audience than your typical tactics game. Mech Mice is a free to try game, which will be released as episodic Chapters. The overarching, deep, rich story concept, I believe, is what engages fans, getting them talking about it at school with their friends. It doesn’t stop there either! As the digital world of Mech Mice continues to grow, we will also begin developing the future animated series, the toy line and much more.”
