Will I Run Out of Retro Games?

Family Friendly Gaming News

Cordova, TN; January 26, in the year of our Lord 2026 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. For the last so many years I have been purchasing a plethora of retro video games. In fact recently on the 8-bit NES games the prices have been getting higher. What I mean by that is I purchase copies of the lowest priced games. I am running out of the lower priced games. So I purchase some of the more expensive games. I am also swapping over to other systems and starting to purchase some of their lower priced games.

The thought hit me this morning while looking at some 8-bit NES and 16-bit Super NES cartridges that I might reach a point where there are no more of these retro games to purchase. I may get to a point where the games that are left are way too expensive for me. Or I may hit a point where there are no more retro games on the market left for me to purchase. At the current rate of purchases that might be five or ten years down the line. The thought of it alone sparked some neurons. What will I do when I run out? What will my next direction be when I purchase all of the retro video games that interest me?

I honestly have no answer for those questions. I will need to ponder and meditate on it. Maybe I will invest in more movies and television shows. I could invest more in cards or comic books. I could find something else to get into. I also suspect by the time this happens I will be close to or already retired. So maybe it will be a moot point. Maybe it will no longer matter. Maybe I will never run out of retro video games to purchase. Maybe I will run out of money before I run out of retro video games to purchase. I do not know the future. Maybe Jesus will come back before any of this becomes an issue.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
