What will 2026 Bring Us?

-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I noticed
that all kinds of people like to make all kinds of predictions.
I honestly have no idea or clue as to what may transpire in
2026. What I do know is it most likely will be interesting. I
know of things that we plan on doing. I know of a few video
games that have been announced. Like the next Forza Horizon
video game being set in Japan. Noah and I are both excited about
that game.
In the year of our Lord 2025 we hit 450K subscribers on YouTube.
Can we reach 500K by the end of 2026? I have no idea. We plan on
doing the same things we always do. We plan on continuing to
provide you as much content as we can. I would love to be able
to do YouTube full time. There is a balance there. There is some
major conflict there as well. Some people only want Just Dance
videos from us. They only come for the Just Dance videos. The
problem for us is the music companies take all of the money for
the Just Dance videos and give us nothing. The equipment we use
to record videos cost money. How do we pay for it if the videos
we make provide no money? We tried Give Send Go. We tried
Patreon. No one ever donates any money ever.
I get to the point that I feel like no one cares. I feel like I
do these videos that answer these questions and people still
come by live streams and ask the questions. Go watch the videos
that answer the question. We might make a penny off of those
videos a year. If the people that want more Just Dance videos
would watch our other videos we could do more Just Dance videos.
We have explained this in videos and live streams again and
again. I suspect the same issue and the same problem will
persist in 2026. I expect no movement and no improvement on this
issue in 2026.
I waffle on the comic books. Part of me wants to stop reading
and reviewing them. Another part of me knows they are quick ways
to get more reviews on the website. I would love to be able to
do more hours of live streaming. Sadly the pay is so low we
can't do that. I suspect I will continue to need a day job in
2026. I pray about that getting resolved. It is just not in
God's timing or God's plan for us right now. I can hope and pray
that will change at some point in the near future. For now I
continue with the same struggles. I hope to improve our
financial situation in 2026. I keep working on it.
