-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. Part of me
wonders why I even bother writing articles like this one. The
people that email these kinds of things never bother to read any
of these articles. When I reply back to them with a link to an
article like this one they do not check it out and ask if I want
to schedule a meeting with them. No I do not want to schedule a
meeting with you. No I do not want your service. We already have
a policy that anyone that asks to schedule a meeting agrees to
pay a scheduling check on our end. Then I ask them if they will
respect our rules or not. We cannot work with anyone who does
not respect our rules.
If you want to offer me some service you agree to pay a
consideration fee. For anyone at Family Friendly Gaming to
consider your service we must be paid for our time that will be
required to do our due diligence. Anyone who does their due
diligence when investigating Family Friendly Gaming will find
this article and realize we will not even consider their service
until they pay us first. Hopefully some people will buy a vowel
and realize that we get too many of those. We do not have time
to consider all of their different services. They might also
realize that they are not a good fit.
Do you have any clue as to all of the different people that want
money from us? I get people that want me to buy an electronic
sign from them. I get people that think I will buy slabs or
marble from them. What part of Family Friendly Gaming makes you
think we want an electronic sigh or a slab of marble? How about
those trying to sell me an elevator? There are others that might
make some sense like post-it notes or ink pens. Want your logo
on an ink pen? That makes more sense than a slab of marble. What
in the world will I do with a slab or marble? Or the ones that
are trying to sell me a forklift. I have no room for a forklift
and I have no need for a forklift.
Since these people cannot be bothered to properly target I am
going to start charging them fees and fines for wasting our
time. I know what some of ya'll are saying - just delete the
emails. I do. In fact I delete hundreds of them a day. Why can't
these people start to be responsible? Am I asking too much from
them? Can't they bother to start to be professional? Maybe I am
too much of a free thinker. Maybe my perspective is too shocking
for some of these people.
