The Adventures of Tango Rio Release Date

Family Friendly Gaming News

12 October in the year of our Lord 2026 -- Bean Adventure Agency and publisher Dionous Games have confirmed that The Adventures of Tango Rio will launch on Tuesday 10 November 2026 for PC on Steam and GOG, with Mac and Linux versions also available on Steam. The Adventures of Tango Rio also takes part in Steam Next Fest, which starts on 19 October 2026.

The Adventures of Tango Rio is a humoristic point-and-click adventure set across a tropical archipelago. Players take the role of Tango Rio, who has not seen his father in two years, since he departed with Tango's uncle on what was described only as a journey that would change the world. The sole clue left behind is the name of a Polynesian archipelago, and that is where the search begins. The game blends comedy and investigation as players explore over 50 fully illustrated, hand-colored locations, meet a wide cast of quirky characters, and piece together clues by solving puzzles.

The story weaves together tropical legends, strange rituals, time travel, dark prophecies and a gallery of totally crazy characters, all wrapped in a tone that draws clear inspiration from 90s point-and-click classics such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Sam and Max Hit the Road. Clever puzzles and hilarious conversations drive a narrative full of humor and unexpected twists, rendered throughout in hand-drawn 2D art.
