Summer Game Fest 2026 Recap
Family Friendly Gaming News
Cordova, TN; June 21, in the year of our Lord 2026 --
Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have so
many swirling thoughts going through my head concerning the
Summer Game Fest 2026. Some of the same problems persisted and
there were some new opportunities. I still find it fascinating
all of these people that claim to celebrate diversity have no
Christian and no conservative voices out there. Our FFG Reacts
are the closest thing anyone can get to that.
We did a decent job of starting our FFG Reacts a bit later so we
could skip the gross, disgusting, evil, vile, wicked, macabre
and morbid content. Thanks to the Fortnite Event that happened
right at the same time as one of them we were not able to skip
all of the bad content. What is troubling is those that claim
those bad things are good. Obviously they do not comprehend
obedience to God. Speaking of rebellion against God - The
Wholesome Game Show did it yet again. They again promoted their
radical, extremist far left politics into it. They also had
games that were questionable in terms of being wholesome.
Wholesome Game Show again promoted mental illness as something
to be worshipped instead of treated. We have compassion for the
mentally ill. We want them to get treated and live better lives.
Sony had a better State of Play than we were expecting.
Microsoft had a much worse Xbox Game Showcase this year. Sadly
no Bible Game 2, no new Christian games announced at these
events. There was no Knack 3, no new Viva Pinata, and no new
Kinect device. There were all kinds of things missing that
should have been there. They were not. The Green Game Showcase
was even worse than we expected. The PBS style whispering by
some hosts was annoying, obnoxious and truly bothersome. The PC
Gaming Show had some humor in it. There were plenty of games for
us to look into. I wish there was a real push for physical
copies of games - well besides us. It is a real relief to be
done with it this year.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
