Space Dragons Releases
Family Friendly Gaming News
Madrid, Spain — June 17, in the year of our Lord 2026
-- DOJO System confirms that Space Dragons, the co-op
arcade shoot 'em up developed by TEAM Black Hat Robot, launches
tomorrow on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S
at €12.99.
Two players on the same couch, a screen full of bullets and a
boss that takes up half the frame. That's the place Space
Dragons returns to after its run on Steam — the classic arcade
as it actually was, made to be played alongside someone, asking
for nothing more than a fire button and a bomb.
Blast through waves of enemies, dodge more bullets than seems
humanly possible, and take on screen-filling bosses in a
pixel-art universe with the energy of the coin-op cabinet. No
long tutorials, no systems to learn, no curve beyond your own
reflexes. What sets Space Dragons apart is what happens with a
second player: situations are designed to be survived together,
and that changes how every stage reads.
TEAM Black Hat Robot, an independent studio with developers in
Chile and Mexico, has spent years inside the genre with a
recognizable sensibility: visual arcade action, high tempo,
pixel art with character. Space Dragons, available on Steam
since 2022 and warmly received by the community, now makes the
jump to consoles with DOJO System.
