Sill Sticks Release Date

Family Friendly Gaming News

July 13, in the year of our Lord 2026 -- SQOOL Co., Ltd. (Minato City, Tokyo / CEO: Kenji Kato), a company that operates video game news media and provides game marketing support, today announced that its in-house-developed desktop companion app "Sill Sticks" will be released on July 20, 2026.

Sill Sticks was developed as a sister app to the popular cat desktop app "Sill Cats." It features Bota, a lazy stickman who does nothing but loaf around at his own pace on your PC desktop.

Unlike Sill Cats, Bota the stickman rarely gets in the user's way — though he occasionally mutters to himself or strikes up a conversation with you, so he may catch your attention now and then.

Sill Sticks is free to download. By installing the paid DLC released on the same day, users can expand the app's features — for example, adding a partner character for Bota. Two paid DLCs will be available: the "Partner Pack" (list price: $1.99 / ¥265) and the "Dress Up Pack" (color & costume changes; $0.99 / ¥160). Both will be offered at a 10% discount for the first 14 days after release.

As with Sill Cats, Sill Sticks will continue to receive regular updates after release.
