Plush Rangers Demo
Family Friendly Gaming News
Olympia, Washington — October 19, in the year of our Lord 2026
— Indie developer Short Leg Studio is showcasing Plush Rangers
at Steam Next Fest, which starts today. The free demo can be
downloaded from Steam and played throughout the festival, so
press and creators can jump in without waiting for a key. The
full game launches on Steam for Windows and macOS in January
2027.
Plush Rangers is a fast-paced survivors-like in which players
put together a team of Plushie Friends and fight waves of wacky
mutated enemies. Toasters have gone haywire and staplers are
possessed, so the team strikes back with bowling balls, orange
slices, and carrot grenades, taking down powerful bosses along
the way.
Every plushie has its own abilities and behavior. Brocco is a
defensive fighter who pushes nearby enemies away, while Tangelo
is a charging berserker tortoise. Plushies level up to grow
stronger and unlock new abilities. During a run, players can
also stop by Button's Shiny Crow shop to buy hats, clothing, and
accessories that boost their stats, and complete challenges to
earn powerful relics.
Your Plushie Team Is Ready for Steam Next Fest
The free Plush Rangers demo is open to everyone on Steam from 19
to 26 October, with nothing to request and nothing to wait for.
Pick your plushies, grab a bowling ball or a carrot grenade, and
hold the line against the mutated office supplies for as long as
you can. The full game arrives on Steam in January 2027.
