NFL Retro Bowl ’27 Announced

Family Friendly Gaming News

LONDON, UK – 14th July, in the year of our Lord 2026 – Developers New Star Games, the BAFTA award-winning studio behind hit games like New Star Soccer, Retro Goal and Retro Bowl are pleased to announce that their officially licenced football game, NFL Retro Bowl ‘27 is returning to Apple Arcade this September.

NFL Retro Bowl ’27 features all the real teams and players from the NFL, faithfully reproduced in glorious retro pixel-art style! Players can start their NFL coaching career by assembling their roster from a choice of real-life NFL & NFLPA players. Taking on the real teams from the AFC and NFC, players can manage rosters, handle the press, and play the key moments on the field to take their team to the Super Bowl and write their name into the Hall of Fame!

NFL Retro Bowl ’27 is raising the stakes with a thrilling new Gauntlet Mode. Starting with limited resources, armchair GMs must survive a gruelling 15-game win streak with the highest score among other players. Along the way, they must choose between safe matchups or high-risk opponents, and the rewards of real NFL stars or powerful perks. Player XP and abilities carry over after a loss, with every run fuelling a relentless climb toward an epic winner-takes-all showdown against a division nemesis and weekly leaderboard supremacy.

NFL Retro Bowl ’27 returns on September 3rd.
