Missing Morals and Ethics

Family Friendly Gaming News

Cordova, TN; October 19, in the year of our Lord 2026 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. If you watch our FFG Haul livestreams then you know we purchase quite a few video games in the physical copy format. Whether it is brand new games, used games, retro, or even smaller companies like Limited Run, Play Asia, and Evercade. We put quite a bit of money into the video game industry. Also comic books, manga, movies, television shows cards, and more. There was a recent annoying, irritating, and shocking development that exhibits the lack of morals and ethics by some people. We purchased EA Sports Madden NFL 27 from Walmart for a live stream. Want to see something interesting -

The 15:29 through 15:40 shows the moment I showed off the game. Notice anything interesting about the game disc? It is actually EA Sports Madden NFL 26. The wrong game disc is in the package. Now there are a couple of ways this could happen. One the factory messed up and put the wrong game discs in the box. I have never seen that in my decades in the video game industry. Theoretically that is possible. The next possibility is someone bought the game from Walmart, and returned it. They returned it with the wrong game in the box on purpose. That means Walmart employees did not look and notice the wrong game was in there.

I actually had this problem years ago at a Walmart. I bought a sports game in the store and the wrong game disc was in there. Walmart begrudgingly took the game back. This time Walmart is giving us flak because we did not make it back to them in thirty days. I admit we did not notice the wrong game disc was in there. I own that. I am now being very diligent about checking that on every single game we open. We are even considering waiting to open games until the FFG Haul. One problem is we may be late in their 30 day return policy. Another idea is to stop purchasing from Walmart. What is with the laziness at Walmart? What is with someone buying a game, returning the previous year so they can get their money back? Why are so many of these people running scams and not feeling guilty? This is a serious problem in our industry.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
