18, in the year of our Lord 2026 – Goldin, an
internationally renowned auction house known for rare and
record-breaking collectible sales, closed its 2026 Spring TCG &
Manga Elite Auction on Sunday, May 17.
Headlining the auction was the 1998 Pokémon Japanese Promo
Bronze 3rd Place 3rd Tournament Trophy Pikachu card, which
realized $1,769,000 to become the highest public sale ever for
the card. Additional top results include the 2024 One Piece
Korean Serialized Top Prize Monkey D. Luffy card at $440,420;
the 1996 Pokémon Club Part 1 Charizard at $294,021; and the 2024
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Paldean Fates SIR Mew ex at $236,543.

The auction’s results reinforce continued demand for elite
trading card game collectibles, from ultra-rare tournament
trophies and serialized modern releases to factory-sealed
products and premium Pokémon memorabilia, further establishing
Goldin as the premier destination for high-end collectibles.
Additional ongoing and upcoming auctions include the Vintage
Star Wars Auction, open through June 3, the May Elite Auction,
open through June 6, the Global Football Auction, open through
June 13, and the Combat Sports Auction, open through June 15.
Looking ahead, Goldin continues with its Summer of Greatness,
opening the Spring Pop Culture Auction on May 21, the
highly-anticipated Goldin 100 on May 27, and the eagerly awaited
USA 250th Anniversary Historical Auction, including an original
Declaration of Independence Broadside, scheduled for June.
