Factory Magnate Release Date
Family Friendly Gaming News
April 1, in the year of our Lord 2026 -- Publisher
indie.io and developer Rising Tail are pleased to announce that
Factory Magnate, a casual factory-building simulation game, will
launch on Steam on April 28, 2026.
Factory Magnate invites players to design, build, and optimize
their own production networks, starting from a handful of
natural resources and growing into a sprawling industrial
empire. With a focus on accessibility and satisfying
progression, the game offers a streamlined take on the
factory-building genre.
Unlike more complex automation titles, Factory Magnate is
designed to be approachable, removing the need for spreadsheets,
external guides, or memorizing intricate systems. Instead,
players can focus on constructing production lines, completing
clear objectives, and unlocking new machines at their own pace.
Key features include:
Approachable factory building: Start small and expand gradually
with intuitive systems
Objective-based progression: Clear goals that reward players
with new tools and machines
Relaxing gameplay: No enemies, combat, or time limits - just
steady, satisfying growth
Procedurally generated maps: Each playthrough offers new layouts
and challenges
Balanced depth: Around 25 machines and buildings, and over 50
items to produce and refine
Players will be able to progress from a humble operator to the
ultimate magnate, working toward a defined endgame that provides
a clear sense of completion.
A free demo is currently available on Steam, allowing players to
experience the game ahead of launch.
Factory Magnate will be available on Windows PC via Steam and
the indie.io Store.
