Are You Their Slave?
Family Friendly Gaming News
Cordova, TN; October 5, in the year of our Lord 2026 --
Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have been a
long time advocate of consumer rights, and ownership. The recent
decision by Sony shows that they believe you are their slave.
They feel they can use, and abuse you. The feel you will not do
anything to stand up to them. They look at people that scream:
"Shut up and just take my money," and believe that is the entire
gaming community. So are you? Are you their slave?
I can tell you for me and my house - we are not their slaves. We
can live without them. We are taking a hard line in the sand -
no physical copy - no sale. I take it even further personally.
Know what my line in the sand is? No physical copy, no play. I
am moving away from playing games that do not provide a physical
copy. They lose out. They miss out. They fail to provide for
video game ownership, stewardship, and historical preservation
then they lose. If these companies go bankrupt for their bad
decisions - then so be it.
I said it before and I will say it again - I have plenty of
retro video games that I can play them for the rest of my life.
I also support sites like Limited Run Games, Super Rare Games,
and Play Asia. I also support systems like the Evercade. If you
want more of something then you put your money there. If you
want to lose video game ownership then purchase, download, and
play the digital downloads. You only hurt the entire industry
and future generations. At some point these video game companies
will cross a line you refuse to go across. At that point you
will wish you stood with us here and now.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless,
