Stop Saying its Realistic

-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. Want to know
something I am sick and tired of? Maybe I need to update my
video game lies book. I am sick and tired of people saying 'M'
games are more realistic. Have you seen all of the blood that
comes out of a body in these macabre and morbid games? You
cannot tell me that is more realistic. If you have ever seen a
real body bleeding then you know these video games are far from
realistic.
Do not know what I am talking about? Looked at a Mortal Kombat
game recently? How about a Ninja Gaiden one? I do not believe a
body can have that much blood. Let us also talk about what is
realistic. If you lost a lot of blood you are not going to be
able to continue to fight. Mortal Kombat is a great example. If
you lost all that blood you would not be able to continue
fighting. I know it makes for a bad game, but that is what is
realistic. If you want all of the blood and gore, then stop
telling me its realistic. I just poked two holes in that video
games lie. That is just off the top of my head.
I know the gameplay of the Diablo games are something that some
people enjoy. I find it dull and boring personally. Who sends
out five to eight enemies at you at a time? In reality if they
wanted to beat you, the bad guys would send out a ton. If you
beat ten, then they send out twenty. There would be no overkill
in that situation. If they really wanted the player gone they
would overwhelm you. Players would then need to put up some
defenses or something to survive an onslaught. Again if we are
talking about what is realistic. These companies should hire me
as a consultant to help make their games better.
