Mindset GO Moves to Print
Family Friendly Gaming News
LONDON, 3rd December in the year of our Lord 2025 — In
an industry first, Mindset GO! – the brand-new puzzle game from
Magicave – has entered into an exclusive UK partnership with The
Observer, the world’s oldest Sunday newspaper. The collaboration
marks the first time a video game has made the leap to print,
with a brand-new Mindset GO! puzzle appearing each week on The
Observer’s logic page.
The brainchild of Ste Curran, creative director at developer
Magicave, Mindset GO! is built around the Venn diagram logic;
each puzzle challenges you to think visually and logically by
sorting shapes based on shared attributes.
“We’re honoured to be working with The Observer to bring Mindset
GO! to a national weekly audience of smart, casual gamers,” said
Harry Holmwood, CEO of Magicave. “If you enjoy mentally
rewarding games like Wordle, Candy Crush or Sudoku – where
progress comes from brainpower, not luck – this is the game for
you.”
“Mindset GO! is built on a new kind of logic puzzle and it’s
part of a new genre too,” added Ste Curran, Creative Director of
Magicave. “I’ve always wanted to make games that reach millions,
but also leave players feeling good about how they’ve spent
their time. Mindset GO! sits somewhere in a Venn diagram: on one
side, casual games and time-killers; on the other, games that
really make you think. Right in the middle is where we live.”
Mindset GO! is free to download from the Apple App Store and
Google Play Store.
Players can collect and showcase their progress through My Sets
– a personal trophy cabinet of Shape Sets they’ve unlocked and
claimed. Each Shape Set is a carefully crafted group of puzzle
pieces built around a unique set of shared rules and visual
themes, from Bauhaus to Cupcake.
Completing Weekly Events or Map Zones earns players new Shape
Sets, and solving every rule within one unlocks a coveted golden
badge. Once claimed, these sets are yours to keep and play with
forever. It’s all part of Mindset GO!’s mantra: Sort. Slide.
Solve.
