Major Problem with Nintendo Switch 2 Discovered

Family Friendly Gaming News

Cordova, TN; September 22, in the year of our Lord 2025 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. A variety of people have been asking me what I think of the Nintendo Switch 2. Generally I like it. Generally I feel like it is an upgrade to the Nintendo Switch. I did recently discover a major problem with the Nintendo Switch 2. The Joy Con 2's do not always charge. In fact even with the system plugged in it will sometimes completely lose charge on a Nintendo Switch 2 Joy Con 2. Why? How? What is going on?

Thanks to some research and trial and error myself I have figured out where the major system flaw resides. It is always inconvenient to try and go live on the air only to find out one of the Joy Con 2 is completely dead. These controllers are expensive too. We went and got one of the Pro Controllers to ensure we had something to use as a back up. Hopefully we will be able to avoid this major system flaw in the future. Are you ready to hear about this major problem? Have you heard others talking about it?

When the power is plugged into the docking station or even the system itself if there is an interruption to power the Joy Con 2 stop charging. I test this myself multiple times. Since we get power blips in our area quite often the Joy Con 2's were totally losing their charge. Well at least one of them. Nintendo also has a feature to only charge to seventy percent for some reason. The solution is to pop the controllers off and pop them back on. There is a possibility the Joy Con 2's are broken and need to be sent into Nintendo. Nothing like a glitchy brand new system.

The power adapter and the docking stations can also be broken for some people. A way to trouble shoot that is to connect directly to the system with the power adapter. Go to the controller screen and see if the Joy Con 2's are charging or not. I will admit this major system flaw with the Nintendo Switch 2 does bother me. Why? That system cost a lot of money. For that amount of money I do not expect to face major system flaws and glitches that fast. I hope Nintendo fixes this issue very soon. And at no addition cost to consumers.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
