Illusion of Itehari Releases

Family Friendly Gaming News

Torrance, Calif. — September 18, in the year of our Lord 2025 — Aksys Games announced today that the eagerly anticipated otome game Illusion of Itehari is available now for Nintendo Switch™. On a floating utopia in the sky, Hinagiku unravels the secrets of her perfect world and discovers romance along the way. An exclusive edition of the game featuring the OST on CD is available only from the Aksys Online Store.

The English edition of Illusion of Itehari includes the initial DLC released for "Utakata no Uchonia" in Japan. The second DLC is coming soon, featuring five stories with newly drawn illustrations by character designer/illustrator RiRi and fully voiced in Japanese with English text. Told from the perspectives of Yashiro, Tobari, Awayuki, Yori and Tsuyukusa, these new stories expand more on each character's ending in the original game.

In Itehari, the renowned and prosperous floating utopia, Hinagiku longs for the world beyond. One day, Hinagiku, having just turned 18 years old, encounters an amnesiac man. Their chance meeting drags her into a series of events involving the secrets and various truths hidden beneath the surface of Itehari… for this garden in the sky is a false utopia.

Illusion of Itehari is a completely new otome game project created by a renowned group of artists and staff, and the first project from "LicoBiTs," a joint venture by Broccoli and TIS Creation aimed at making games for the female audience.

Illusion of Itehari has been rated "T for Teen" by the ESRB.
