London, UK –November 3, in the year of our Lord 2025–
Independent development studio Koffeecup has announced that
Hoomanz!, a stealth-adventure game, is available on Steam. A
downloadable demo version of the game is also available. The
game will soon feature Mac support and localization for
Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Italian. Hoomanz! will
also be launching on Nintendo Switch and Xbox soon in November!
Hoomanz! is a lighthearted, captivating game filled with cozy
humor, non-combat gameplay, and family-friendly fun. Players
step into the role of Shoo, the mythical guardian of Planet Erf,
a world where darkness is nature’s ally and light its greatest
threat. Shoo’s mission is to protect the planet by scaring off
invading Hoomanz who threaten its balance. With a hidden dual
nature, Shoo transforms between Dark Shoo, fierce and fast, and
Light Shoo, slow, vulnerable, and hopelessly cute—though Shoo
despises hugs from the overly affectionate Hoomanz.
Players must creatively use the environment to terrify Hoomanz
until they flee the planet in fear. Shoo’s mischief-filled
toolkit includes luring enemies with purrs, snapping twigs,
throwing bottles, sabotaging lights, or even pulling off frozen
yeti jumpscares. Every encounter encourages experimentation,
rewarding inventive ways to send the clueless invaders packing.
Players can also dash through nature’s obstacle courses, explore
the world’s whimsical landscapes, and rescue creatures along the
way.
As the story unfolds, challenges grow tougher and the urgency to
save Planet Erf intensifies. The game brims with humor—from
banjo-playing Hoomanz and comical slips on ice to their
ridiculous screams and panicked waddles. It promises a
heartwarming, mischievous, and laughter-filled experience that
celebrates creativity and nature’s playful spirit.
