Honeycomb Aeronautical Partners With CockpitCrafters

Family Friendly Gaming News

Schwerte, Germany – November 4, in the year of our Lord 2025 – Honeycomb Aeronautical, a leading manufacturer of professional grade flight simulation hardware, announced today a new initiative, designed to expand and support the flight simulation community via the range of hardware and accessory products sold under the Honeycomb Aeronautical brand.

In order to expand the selection of flight simulation hardware available, Honeycomb Aeronautical will be licensing the brand name to select premium partners, enabling them to create complementary products worthy of the Honeycomb name. The first partner under the new licensing initiative has been unveiled as CockpitCrafters, a passionate team of specialists, dedicated to enabling enthusiasts to craft their ideal cockpit installation at home. The first product due for release under the new initiative will be the UnderDesk Mount, offering users a premium way of connecting their hardware to a fixed location, for maximum authenticity during flight.

End users will feel the benefit by being able to purchase purpose-built accessories that are designed specifically for Honeycomb Aeronautical hardware, improving compatibility and giving customers more confidence when buying equipment for their home setup. Honeycomb Aeronautical’s license agreement will cover brand usage, visual identity, product specifications, and quality standards, ensuring all licensed products meet Honeycomb’s high expectations for quality and performance.

The UnderDesk Mount from CockpitCrafters, a team who create high-quality accessories for home flight simmers, has been thoughtfully designed and precision crafted to integrate seamlessly with popular flight simulator products such as the Honeycomb Aeronautical Alpha Flight Controls and Bravo Throttle Quadrant. Transforming the users’ installation, and freeing up valuable desk space, the UnderDesk Mount securely locks the Honeycomb Alpha or Bravo to the underside of any desk, providing absolute stability. Machined from a solid slate of aluminium, with a custom-cut slot to lock the original Honeycomb clamps and anti-slip pads for a stable control experience, the UnderDesk Mount is an exciting first step for the new Honeycomb Aeronautical licensing model.

Honeycomb Aeronautical CEO, Michael Auer, commented: “Honeycomb Aeronautical’s entry into third party licensing marks a major milestone for our team. We plan to continue innovating through the introduction of best-in-class flight simulation hardware, but the new initiative allows us to better shape the accessory ecosystem via working with trusted partners. Each partner we license to will embody the Honeycomb Aeronautical core quality values, and CockpitCrafters is an ideal partner for us to align with. Their insistence on using premium materials, a genuine focus on community, and their design-driven logic make them a perfect match.”
