Fall Guys Continues to Decline

-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I can tell
that Fall Guys continues to decline. I just went online to
verify what my brain was telling me. Fall Guys is dying. It has
been run into the ground with complete and total mismanagement.
At this point I am not sure if this game can ever recover. I
keep seeing stories about this game and that game shutting down.
It would not surprise me to see Fall Guys shut down within the
next two years. Why is this happening? What did they do wrong?
Let me share some of my thoughts as a long time Fall Guys
player. When they removed the reporting of players grabbing you
the community took a major hit. The grabbing players were no
longer threatened and that behavior ballooned. That sent a lot
of players out the door because the game play experience got
even worse. The vaulting of cool levels also sent a lot of
players packing. The Creative Mode of letting players create
their own levels sounded like a good idea on paper, but
ultimately was a complete disaster. Fall Guys was drowning in
really bad levels. Cool levels by interesting designers were
ignored while dumb levels were pushed.
When I started playing Fall Guys it was sixty players in a
match. Then due to decline it turned into thirty-two and became
more like Stumble Guys. Fall Guys also copied some of the
Stumble Guys levels and that showed their lack of creativity. No
new seasons also hurt Fall Guys. I have noted for many months
that some modes in Fall Guys will not load. This is horrible
when there are daily or weekly missions to do things in those
modes. The daily missions used to be cool and could be done in a
match or two. Lately they can take an hour. Who has that kind of
time? I don't so I go and play other games that respect my time.
I started playing Fall Guys late in its first season. I played
every single season and season pass until September/October
2025. I go so tired of the same problems and same disrespect
that I stopped playing until the next season pass. I need to
grind in certain games for live streams. If I have an opening I
play a little bit of Fall Guys. I am trying to get the husky dog
skin in the current season pass. Once Disney Dreamlight Valley
has new content I will drop Fall Guys again. I noticed in
different modes there are less players. For example a Knockout
match can have thirty-two players. We start the match with
sixteen sometimes. That is half of the players. I wish there was
a physical copy and offline mode because this game is getting
shut down in the near future.
