Dawncaster Release Date
Family Friendly Gaming News
UTRECHT, December 15, in the year of our Lord 2025 —
Dawncaster | The RPG Cardventure comes to Steam on February 6,
2026. The game will be available on Windows, macOS, and Linux
for $19.99.
"I've always loved playing card games and RPGs," says Rick van
der Wal, game director at Wanderlost Interactive. "So when we
started designing Dawncaster, we noticed games were doing either
one of those two things really well, but rarely combined them
equally. Dawncaster is our first attempt at designing deep
card-based systems, inside a narrative-driven world. Like
traditional RPGs, players craft their own story via the cards
they pick, and the choices they make during randomized
encounters."
What Makes It Different
Dawncaster combines a captivating narrative driven adventure
with deep roguelike gameplay and fast paced deckbuilding in one
refined package.. Define your hero’s story in a unique world
that responds to your decision and determine the fate of a
unique world overrun by evil.
With over 1,100 cards, 100 unique enemies, hidden bosses and an
alternate (bossrun) playmode, Dawncaster offers endless amounts
of replayability. Dawncaster imposes no limitations on what
