Another Farm Roguelike Rebirth Release Date
Family Friendly Gaming News
Singapore — July 14, in the year of our Lord 2025 — Get
ready to grow, strategize, and embrace the chaos — Zabbo Games
and publisher Thermite Games are thrilled to announce that
Another Farm Roguelike: Rebirth will launch on Steam on August
1st, 2025, priced at $6.99 / €6.89 / £5.89, with a 10% launch
discount available during the first two weeks.
As the second title in the series, Another Farm Roguelike:
Rebirth features a highly refined core gameplay loop. During its
demo period, it earned a “Very Positive” rating on Steam and was
praised by players as a “roguelike speedrun version of Stardew
Valley.”
The full release introduces a wealth of new content, including
three game modes — Classic, Challenge, and Endless — along with
24 unique character classes, dozens of powerful skills, and 8
distinct biomes. It offers a fresh farming experience that
blends strategic depth with cozy, relaxing vibes.
Players have just seven in-game days to earn enough money
through farming, ranching, mining, fishing, weaving, cooking,
and more — all to keep up with the ever-increasing rent.
The developer has stripped away the bloated systems often found
in traditional farming sims, focusing instead on a tight
gameplay loop of "plant → sell → upgrade → pay rent."
With limited stamina and constant rent pressure, players must
make strategic daily choices: gather resources or construct
buildings? Deep-process materials for better returns, or sell
them quickly for fast cash?
Class-specific perks and a “pick one of three” skill system
bring tactical depth to every run — and once your build clicks,
get ready for a glorious, screen-filling harvest.
Another Farm Roguelike: Rebirth offers a minimalist take on the
farming sim genre. The game removes traditional elements such as
a main character or NPC interactions, shifting the focus
entirely to core mechanics like crop cultivation, resource
management, and environmental planning.
Each session begins with a procedurally generated map, ensuring
a different layout and resource distribution every time. Paired
with a randomized multi-choice skill system, the game emphasizes
replayability and strategic variety.
The visual presentation adopts a clean pixel art style, with
animated crops and animals that support a calm and focused
gameplay experience. Without narrative distractions, players
engage directly with systems of growth, production, and
optimization in a self-contained farming loop.
24 Playable Classes Enable Deep Strategy Customization
The game features 24 distinct character classes, each offering
unique passive abilities that influence how players approach
farming. From a high-efficiency farmer and a well-equipped
angler to a luck-based joker or a shaman wielding toxic totems,
class mechanics are designed to challenge conventional farming
playstyles.
Whether players focus on high-value crop production, animal
husbandry, or mining for rare resources, the wide variety of
classes and unlockable buildings supports multiple viable
strategies. Each run presents new opportunities to experiment
with different builds, allowing for a fresh gameplay experience
every time.
8 Biomes Unlock New Farming Possibilities
The full release introduces eight distinct biomes, each with
unique environmental traits and resources. These include the
resource-rich starting plains designed for smoother early runs,
mineral-heavy mountain regions ideal for mining-focused builds,
and whimsical areas like a candyland filled with chocolate and
ice cream. Even more unusual is the volcanic zone, where crops
can’t grow — but rare materials may be found.
Each biome offers exclusive effects and buildings, and the
layout and resource distribution are randomized in every run.
This encourages players to adapt their strategies and adds a
strong sense of exploration and discovery to each session.
New Modes for Both Casual and Hardcore Players
In addition to the core rent-based Regular Mode, Another Farm
Roguelike: Rebirth introduces two new options: Challenge Mode
and Endless Mode, offering distinct gameplay experiences for
different types of players.
Challenge Mode presents a series of handcrafted scenarios with
specific restrictions and twists. For example, in Trapped,
players are limited to just three land tiles, requiring precise
planning and optimization to survive. In Death Lord, the usual
crop-stealing crows have been replaced by aggressive zombies
that drop unique items. Other scenarios — such as Boom, Mind
Void, No Hammer, and Hurry Up — each introduce unpredictable
conditions that push players to adapt in creative ways.
For those seeking a more relaxed experience, Endless Mode
provides a stress-free sandbox with no time limits, no rent, and
no pressure. It’s a space where players can explore, experiment,
and build freely — a true farming utopia for long-term
creativity and play.
