Addiction to Bad Language

Family Friendly Gaming News

Cordova, TN; August 4, in the year of our Lord 2025 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. When I was in school I remember one of the professors talking about the hardest addiction to break. Do you know what it is? Bad language. You might scoff or even argue. Do you notice those that are using bad language do it quite frequently. They are not able to control their own tongues. In fact a great many people say and write things while they are angry and regret what they said or wrote later. If they are not in control when using bad language then who is?

I notice a lot of people know using bad language is wrong and they admit it or apologize right afterward. Why not try and fight it? Why not try and be better? That is one of the things we do at Family Friendly Gaming. We encourage you to be better. We encourage you to do better. We understand that we are all humans. We all fail. We all fall. We all make mistakes. Work hard on getting and being better. You are going to fall. You are going to fail. We fall, and we fail. Get up and work on being better next time. Pray to God and ask for strength and wisdom. It is possible to overcome the addiction to bad language.

When I was a teenager I heard about fighting the addiction to bad language. I was able to beat it. How did I beat it? It took conscious thought and effort to think about it. Prepare yourself for when something bad happened. I hit my finger with a hammer, or whacked my knee on something. I resisted the urge to use bad language. Instead I just screamed: OW! That HURT! MY HAND! MY KNEE! Others knew I hurt myself in a specific region of the body. It felt more real, and normal. I felt more alive, and connected to God. Will you try and fight the addiction to bad language?

Something to be mindful is how much bad language you let into your ears. I am confused why so much "entertainment" contains so much bad content. Take the Deadpool and Wolverine movie for example. Do you actually like all of that bad content? Do you like all of that bad language? My little short review video of the movie points out the bad content in that movie. It really drags it down. I wish these companies would make more clean movies and video games. I am not into all the bad content. Are you?

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
