GRANDIA HD Collection Releases

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. – March 26, in the year of our Lord 2024 – Today, GungHo Online Entertainment America released GRANDIA HD Collection, the remaster of the classic role-playing series, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Whether players are returning to these iconic games or playing for the first time, the series’ dynamic attack-timing system, rewarding magic and skill progression, and vibrant world offer dozens of hours of heroic adventures. The GRANDIA HD Collection can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store for $39.99 USD, and physical editions are available for pre-order until April 14, 2024, in partnership with Limited Run Games for $54.99 USD.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of GRANDIA HD Collection will be compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, respectively.

The GRANDIA HD Collection brings two genre-defining role-playing games, GRANDIA and GRANDIA II, to modern audiences:
GRANDIA follows a young boy named Justin who dreams of becoming a great adventurer and uncovers a grand secret within the ancient Dom Ruins. Justin meets other adventurers who join him throughout his journey, and together they discover what lies beyond the End of the World.
GRANDIA II occurs eons after the battle of Good & Evil between the
false gods Granas and Valmar. The young mercenary Ryudo is tasked with protecting the acolyte Elena, a job that turns into a journey to protect the world from never-ending darkness.
The remastered collection improves upon the original games with enhanced UI, sprite, and texture art details; visual improvements to cinematic videos; widescreen support; Japanese and English audio options; and language support for English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified and traditional).

The GRANDIA series features innovative, real-time turn-based action; dynamic, magical combat; striking worlds to explore; a unique Skill Point system for earning extraordinary attacks; memorable compositions from acclaimed Japanese composer Noriyuki Iwadare; and more.
