DEVIATOR Free Demo Available
Shenzhen, China– February 1, in the
year of our Lord 2024 – DEVIATOR, an upcoming 2D
Metroidvania game focusing on deflection and counter-attack has
d a FREE limited-time demo available on Steam today, In this
demo, players can experience a special designed level of the
Forest area, which is a early stages of the game. The estimated
play time is about 40-50 minutes - a small portion of the final
version of the Forest area. The demo features a boss and will
have a beat time rank list. After finishing the demo for the
first time, the boss challenge mode will unlock, for players to
repeat the challenge and try for a better beat-time record.

DEVIATOR is a 2D Metroidvania game focusing on deflection and
counter-attack, alongside the exquisite hand-drawn scenes to
bring players a immersive adventure. In the game, players take
on the role of the mysterious and brave warrior called DEVIATOR.
Explore unknown wildernesses and cities full of secrets, delving
into the realm of consciousness, and encountering unique
creatures. Mastering the momentum system in combat, defeat all
enemies and unravel the truth behind this chaotic world.
Unique Combat Experience
Unlike many other Metroidvania games, DEVIATOR focuses more on
deflection and counter-attack. In addition to avoiding damage, a
successful deflect can also provide charge energy for the
‘momentum bar.’ After charging is completed, our warrior will
get a power-up, enhancing all the moves such as attack range and
damage.
The complete game will feature a large number of powerful
enemies and bosses, that will provide tough tests of skill, but
also will players to fully exploit the deflection mechanism and
experience more satisfying victories.
