Ugly Side of Video Games
Cordova, TN; December 11, in the year of our Lord 2023
-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have seen
things in the video game industry. I have been around the block
a few times. It amazes me at some of the ugliness in our
industry. What makes it all so shocking is many of the people
doing it are constantly calling for unity. These haters create
division, spread rebellion and want unity. I think what they
mean is they want unity behind themselves. They only accept and
embrace their being at the top.
I have respect for a plethora of people in the industry.
Especially those that walk away. Markus Persson would be a good
example. He left the industry after selling Mojang. He decided
to do what President George Washington did. He walked away from
power. I wish more were like that. We could get some fresh ideas
and fresh people in our industry if more were willing to walk
away after making their money. How much do you really need? Make
your company succeed, and then sell it. Walk away and do
something else with you life. Maybe there would be more
opportunities for others.
I have seen all kinds of discrimination and hatred in the video
game industry against Christians and conservatives. Those that
claim to be tolerant of diversity just attack anyone different
from themselves. It is so sad to see. I feel so bad for them.
Can't they realize how horrible they make the entire industry
look? Greed alone makes our industry look bad. The
discrimination and hatred are adding to that effect. I would
like to see more obedience to God in our industry. Maybe this
article will be the catalyst for change.
