The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo Release Date
Madrid April 18, in the year of our Lord 2023
-- The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo is an enigmatic Point&Click
adventure, with a surreal story, incredible hand-drawn 2D
animation and hilarious puzzles. The game is developed by Nacho
Rodriguez, supported by the PlayStation Talents Program and
published by Meridiem Games, which you can already add to your
wishlist and will be available on September 7 for PS4, PS5,
Nintendo Switch and Steam.
The first physical edition is the Fantabulous Edition of The
Many Pieces of Mr. Coo. In it, in addition to the collector's
item you've always wanted without knowing it, you can find an
exclusive case, different for each platform, and a unique
keychain of the character.
The Fantabolous Edition will be released for PlayStation 5 and
Nintendo Switch in specialized stores across Europe.
And now we also know that there will be another physical edition
of the video game, also distributed by Meridiem. As we were
saying, it will be called Coollector Edition and will be loaded
with more irresistible items than delusions you will find in the
game's plot: a different exclusive case for each platform, the
exclusive Mr. Coo character keychain, a flipbook with two
exclusive animated stories, a mysterious watercolor by artist
Nacho Rodriguez, a Mr. Coo puzzle cut up like a calf, the
artist's making off book and a 7" vinyl with the game's music
created by Julie Reier. All this packaged in a collector's box
that will delight collectors.
But beware, the Coollector edition is limited. Only 1000 units
for the whole of Europe, which is a big Europe, on PlayStation 5
and Nintendo Switch.
As for the game, we've already told you what it's about, but
we'll do it again because we love it. The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo
is a point-and-click adventure game that revives the classic
cartoon through stop-motion animation and hand-drawing. It is a
truly author's game (Nacho Rodríguez, to be precise), with
exciting adventures, crazy puzzles, hilarious scenes and
chickens the size of skyscrapers.
The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo has generated unparalleled buzz
thanks to the trailers, screenshots and concepts that have been
shared. And it has also won five awards at the Tenerife GG
festival. And now, with the Fantabulous and Coollector editions,
it's a clear contender for the top spot on your bookshelf.
