Living the Dream
Cordova, TN; October 23, in the year of our Lord 2023
-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I am halfway
through this Wrestlers show on Netflix. I can relate to many of
the wrestlers in this television show. No I am not talking about
the swearing, drugs, or other bad things. I am talking about
having a dream job that does not pay. These smaller and lesser
known wrestlers are working really hard on their craft. They
have day jobs to pay the bills. They are not able to do what
they love full time. I can completely relate.
For me it gets even more frustrating because there are all these
different companies that have financially benefited from our
hard work. Imagine all of these entertainment companies are
making all kinds of money in part thanks to the hard work we do.
Yet they never donate, sponsor, or advertise. Instead they
expect someone else to pay the price for them while they bank
away millions to billions of dollars. We do get all kinds of
threats when we say something they do not like. We have been
black listed because we are Christian. We have been ignored
because we refuse to join them in rebellion against God. How
dare we choose to be obedient to God instead of disobedient.
Nothing I say or do seem to reach these hard hearts that act
worse than that Pharoah whom Moses knew.
When I am working on FFG, live streaming, processing videos, or
any number of other things I do related to this I am living the
dream. My day gets better when I am free to do what I really
enjoy doing. I can completely and totally relate to people that
are working really hard at living out their dream. I get it with
the frustration at not being able to do what you love full time.
I understand the confusion at the lack of support from those
that benefit from the wonderful work you do. At this point I
figure I will get old enough to retire from the day jobs and
then I will finally get to do what I love doing. Then I will get
to completely and totally live the dream.
