-- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the
family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of
diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There are
plenty of people out there with the completely wrong impression
of Family Friendly Gaming. We get all these different messages
from a plethora of people wanting us to hire them. We do not
have the money to hire you. We get offered all kinds of services
- from payroll software to writing programs for our company. The
people in PR and Marketing are not the only ones who are making
major mistakes in targeting.
I wonder where these people get this ideas that we have all this
money just sitting around waiting to give to them. They must
think all these video game companies making hundreds of millions
of dollars to billions of dollars must show they care about the
amazing work Family Friendly Gaming does that makes them money
right? Right? Right? Right? Nope. They only care about
themselves. It is very rare that any video game company
advertise with us. Ensensasoft is the main one. The others are
very self absorbed. They never show they care in a meaningful
way that helps us continue to exist even though our hard work
has made them so much money.
All of these churches must send in millions of dollars because
of the amazing ministry work Family Friendly Gaming does right?
Right? Right? Right? Nope. Again they focus on care about
themselves and what they are doing. They do not care that with
way less money we reach way more people. We obviously are a
better use of the talents than they are with their expensive
buildings. They reach way less people. I have talked to a ton of
different pastors and generally we are told: "Go in peace; keep
warm and well fed" from James 2:16. Yes they do nothing to help.
They can't even be bothered to mention us from the pulpit to ask
for clicks, views, likes, comments, follows, and other free
things. We knocked and are told there is no room at the inn.
What about the millions of readers? They must send in thousands
of dollars of donations every year right? Right? Right? Right?
Nope. We are lucky to get fifty to one hundred dollars in
donations in a year. Most years we get nothing. We do get
complaints about members only videos costing money, or our books
costing money. Somehow there are some people that think we can
survive with no money and offer everything for free. Someone
else will pay right? Right? Right? Right? Therein lies the
problem because nobody wants to pay for anything. They all want
it for free. What about the Just Dance videos with millions of
views? The audio copyright owners take all the monetization and
give us nothing. We did all the work, and are happy to share
with them, but they are greedy so we make very little there too.
