Projects are Piling Up

Cordova, TN; May 9, in the year of our Lord 2022 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I have resigned myself to reality that all of these amazing ideas and projects I have awaiting my limited time and attention will most likely never happen. I have a growing pile of video games that I want to live stream, and transform into videos. I can only get to so many in any given day, week, month, and year. I also only have so many God granted days on this planet. I have looked at all of the projects, and looked at the extremely limited time and acknowledge I cannot get to all of them. I prioritize and re-prioritize all the time. I do what I can when I can and how I can.

Here is the really important thing. I am not stressing about this reality. I am not getting depressed about this reality. It is what it is. I am not dancing to the tune of all these other people anymore. I play what I want, when I want, and how I want. My strings are not being pulled by any mere mortals anymore. I get requests all the time to play this game and play that game. I look at those games and if I am interested sure I will play it. Maybe I play it one time, three times, six times, or ten times. I am not playing every single game from start to finish. If the game aggravates me then I drop it. These companies are getting free advertisements when I play their games. If I don't like their game then it is see yah. If they pay me to play their game then that is a completely different story. I am tired of supporting all these companies that treat us like slave labor when they profit from our hard work.

I smile when I look at all of the choices we have to play something. Noah recently was looking for a game to live stream and we went through the pile together. He found something he wanted to play. The same thing happened with Peter recently. He went through the stacks and found something that interested him. We have better live streams and videos when we are interested in playing the game. That interest may wane as we are playing the game. Every time I need a new game to live stream I look through the pile and find something. It is where we are. It is what we do. We are not stressing about the various options we have. Instead we are thankful we were blessed to be able to purchase them. I have had plenty of people tell me they felt like they won the lottery when we felt like playing their game. That is a great attitude to have.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

God bless,
Paul Bury
