Loving Life
Cordova, TN; May 23, in the year of our Lord 2022 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. There are so many bad things going on in so many places. It is so easy to get discouraged, depressed or angry. I completely get it. I totally understand. When radicals are trying to redefine words, institutions, morals, ethics, history, and more it can get annoying. There are nasty and hateful people on the roads, at work, in school, and more. I realized something recently. I realized something important. It always helps to have a positive attitude. It constantly helps to recognize all of the blessings we have in our lives. There is a lot of good going on in this world.
I see people helping one another even though they do not know one another. I see complete strangers offering aid, and a hand when someone else is down. Here at Family Friendly Gaming we recently purchased a gaming laptop to use for the streaming. It was a major upgrade from our previous laptop we have been using for years. Now I could focus on the cost and all of the work of setting it up, or I could focus on how much better the streaming is, our software runs, and less problems. Guess which one I chose to focus on? I chose to focus on the second one because it is so much better. I thanked God that He provided us the money to be able to make that purchase. The old streaming laptop is being repurposed for the video uploading. The previous video uploading laptop had all kinds of issues as we have increased the video resolution (and file size) for our videos.
The old adage applies about the glass being half empty or half full. We choose to focus on the positive or the negative. I am human and there are plenty of times I focus on the negative. Ultimately I realized that I am having a great day. I am enjoying life. Life is good. Sure I face challenges and problems. Ultimately I acknowledge that God has been really good to me. I have been protected over and over again in my life. I have been blessed over and over again in my life. I am so thankful for all of the wondrous things in my life. I am thankful God called me to do Family Friendly Gaming. I am thankful I have a wonderful wife and two amazing sons. The sun is shining and our star is ascending.
I rarely ask much from all ya’ll. You guys know that. I am asking something right now in this article. Take a moment to think about some of the blessings you have in your life. How often do you focus on those things in your life? Could you find time to appreciate what you have more often? I know I can and this article is my reminder to do just that. Thank you for listening.
