Accomplished So Much
Cordova, TN; September 19, in the year of our Lord 2022 -- Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is continuing to be the voice of diversity in the gaming media, and media at large. I reached fifty years old last month. I usually focus on all of the wonderful things I am doing and need to do. There is always some project awaiting my attention. There is always someone waiting on me to help them out with something. Wherever I turn there is someone needing assistance and to be served. Some days I fuss about all of the projects I do not have time for. Some days I am so exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open and there are ten more people wanting me to help them make more money for their clients.
I took some time recently to look at all of the accomplishments thus far. From tens of thousands of news stories published, to thousands upon thousands of reviews; we have accomplished quite a bit. Over ten thousand videos have been created and we have a stockpile of even more to release. I am constantly go, go, and go. I am looking at the pile of products awaiting my attention. I want to play this for a live stream, and do a video series on that, and play these, and do a video on this topic. I have little sticky notes around the house with different ideas to do for videos. I get to some in days, weeks, months, and even years. There are some that would be better if they were released closer to the events they reference. There is just not enough time because I have to work a day job to pay the bills. If this work that benefits so many actually paid properly I could get more done much faster.
I fall back into that so quickly sometimes. Even when I am trying to focus on the plethora of work we have done I find myself wanting to get more done. We only have so much time on this planet and there is still so much I want to get done to help out millions upon millions. Look at the wonderful books I have written. I have accomplished that over and over again. I have plenty of ideas for more books. I have ideas for games as well. Lord willing those projects will see the light of day. Looking at the accomplishments for me is like taking a breath. That breath needs to be released so the next one can come in. When you are tired and/or down I recommend you take a moment to look at what you have accomplished thus far. For me it is in the face of those angry, psycho haters wanting to tear things down and stop us from pointing people to God.
